The "26th Annual National Night Out" (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Last year's National Night Out campaign involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, civic groups, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials from over 15,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canadian cities and military bases worldwide. In all, over 37 million people participated in National Night Out 2008.
Locally, National Night Out 2009 in Meriden is being held on August 4th, from 5pm to 8pm. This is a non-commercial event and everything is free that night, all food, activities and prizes. Last year, National Night Out 2008 in Meriden had over 3000 people attend equally spaced between pre-teens to adults.

NON Apparel will have a t-shirt give away at Unity Fest 2009!!! Unity Fest is the Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield’s (CCGS) Unity Fair.
The Cooperating Colleges of Greater Springfield (CCGS) was formed in 1971... member colleges include: American International College, Bay Path College, Elms College, Holyoke Community College, Springfield College, Springfield Technical Community College, Western New England College, and Westfield State College.
Unity Fest is being held Saturday September 26th from 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
Unity Fest celebrates international food, music, and promotes cultural unity among the Springfield, MA. area college communities. An abundance of activities are planned such as free food, a DJ, local band(s), and a t-shirt giveaway (by NON Apparel). Approximately 500 students are expected to attend.
